The World's Best Cinnamon Roll

What started as an ode to my wife, Marlisha, an educator who loves a warm cinnamon roll after a long day, quickly became a family favorite. Holidays, birthdays, or random events, my family would always request that I bring my famous cinnamon rolls.

One day Marlisha and my sister-in-law told me I needed to sell them, so I did. In Henderson, NC, I set up a folding table at a random gas station with a white poster board that read "World's Best Cinnamon Roll" in magic marker. I sold out all 100 cinnamon rolls in an hour.

Convinced it was a fluke, I returned the following weekend with the same table and sign, but with 200 cinnamon rolls, and sold out again in 90 minutes. That was the beginning of Made in a King's Kitchen.

The name comes from a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel like royalty. Life can be hard, and some days are harder than others, but a warm cinnamon roll can give you a moment to sit back, take a bite, and feel like the king or queen you were meant to be. That is what I want every roll to be. Every roll is made with hand-picked ingredients and fresh supplies, including eggs and dairy from local farms. Come try one and wear your crown.
